Education inspires children to achieve beyond their wildest dreams and allows them to emerge out of the debilitating clutches of poverty. Our goal is to help children reach their full potential by attaining a decent education. The funds that you, as a SPONSOR contribute, enables the poorest of the poor children to succeed in life.

In Fiji today, 4 out of every 10 people live below the poverty line. Growing numbers of people are trapped in the vicious clutches of poverty.

The poorest of the poor are the most severely disadvantaged; they are the most vulnerable and the weakest in the society.

Over 10% of Fiji’s children of age 5-14 years do not attend school. Only 49% of all children in Fiji complete secondary education. 

What benefits do children receive through sponsorship?

Through sponsorship we cater for the immediate needs of children at school bypaying for their school levies, stationery, uniforms, shoes, textbooks and otherschooling requirements, as well as attention to help them develop self-confidenceand social skills. We are regularly in touch with them through their respective schools,community leaders and volunteers.

What do you as a sponsor get in return?

Through reports and updates you will learn about the children under our care. A culture very different from yours. You will gain an insight into the lives of children growing up in the poorest of the poor families.
