Fenc Fiji is a non-political, not-for-profit, cause-oriented, voluntary organisation with a mission to provide education and related support to the under priviledged children of the Fiji Islands.

Education inspires children to achieve beyond their wildest dreams and allows them to emerge out of the debilitating clutches of poverty. Our goal is to help children reach their full potential by attaining a decent education. The funds that you, as a SPONSOR contribute, enables the poorest of the poor children to succeed in life.

                                         “Their lives will not change unless you take action.”

 

What benefits do children receive through sponsorship? 

Through sponsorship we cater for the immediate needs of children at school by     paying for their school levies, stationery, uniforms, shoes, textbooks and other    schooling requirements, as well as attention to help them develop self-confidence and social skills. We are regularly in touch with them through their respective schools, community leaders and volunteers.

To Select a Child: 

· You may call in to our office to select a child or allow us to choose a child for you

· You can also call us, send us a letter or e-mail to discuss sponsoring a child

What do you as a sponsor get in return?

 

Through reports and updates you will learn about the children under our care. A culture very different from yours. You will gain an insight into the lives of children growing up in the poorest of the poor families.

HELP EDUCATE A CHILD

 

Fenc Fiji has been approved by Fiji Island Revenue and Customs Authority as a charitable trust and falls within the ambit of Section 17(5) of the income tax act and is exempt from tax. Any cash donation made by a tax-payer to the trust which does not exceed in aggregate an amount of $100,000.00 will be allowed as deductable expense to the taxpayer (Donor).
